The Workers' Action Centre is not only a workers' centre, but here, workers are at the centre of everything we do.

A Member is someone who:

  • Believes that workers who are directly affected by discrimination and poor working conditions should provide leadership in our Centre
  • Wants to be part of a movement working for change - to improve wages, working conditions, and employment legislation
  • Is able to take an active role in the work of the Centre. There are many ways to get involved: some examples are working on a committee, distributing flyers, or helping with mailings.

BECOME A SUPPORTER

If you're not able to take an active role in the Centre, but want to receive our newsletters and financially support our work, please sign up as Supporter. We ask for a minimum annual contribution of $10 to cover mailing and distribution costs. Contact us at info@workersactioncentre.org to request a Supporter Sign-up Form. Please note that the Workers' Action Centre is proud to be an advocate for change, and thus, under current legislation, is not eligible for charitable status. Thus we cannot issue donation receipts for tax purposes.
