Know Your Rights

Knowing your rights at work is an important step to protecting your rights. Check out our online materials and print your own copy. Call our Workers’ Rights Info Line for more information and support.

The Stronger Workplaces for a Stronger Economy Act became law on November 20, 2014,  and makes important changes to the laws governing working conditions for people in Ontario. Download our overview, Stronger Workplaces Act Summary and Implementation, which includes details of all the changes, and the timelines for when each portion of the Act comes into effect.

WAC has updated our Your Rights at Work booklet, as well as all of the factsheets affected, to reflect all of the new protections and changes coming into effect in 2015. We are currently updating our educational materials in other languages, and will post these on our website as soon as they are available.
